Group Campgrounds

Kids in a tent.

Organized groups will want to get their reservations in well in advance to take advantage of the select times and locations available for groups of 25 to 120. Each group site has dedicated picnic and cooking facilities, separate parking and restrooms. Your seclusion is provided behind locked entrance gates.

Organized groups and large family gatherings are encouraged to reserve one of the group sites located around the lake. Group sites allow the privacy and seclusion for your entire group not typically available in Family Campgrounds. Reservations are mandatory and may be made through the call center or online. Reservations are taken up to 365 days in advance.

Each Group Camp contains multiple vault toilets, which are much like fancy outhouses. Restrooms are cleaned twice a day and remain a top priority for our company. Water faucets are located in the central area and are intended for drawing water only. Outdoor sinks for cooking and washing are available at some sites. Regulations allow for biodegradable soap and shampoo to be used in Shasta Lake for bathing purposes.
