The Shasta Recreation Company now offers a new and unique camping experience...Yurts!
A Yurt is a semi-permanent tent with origins tracing back to Central Asia. Today, they are favored by new campers and seasoned veterans alike as a new and convenient camping experience.
Made of sturdy material, Yurts offer more comfort and security than a regular tent, while still allowing for a truly outdoor 
experience.
Because Yurts are round, they're perfect for gathering the family to tell ghost stories! At Shasta, the Yurts are big enough to sleep 5 people (8 people maximum per site), with room for additional tents or RVs onsite (no hook-ups).
The cost is $45 per night.
